Override Request Process
A student may need an override to get into a class for either of two reasons: (1) the class is closed or (2) the student does not satisfy the prerequisite as it is entered in the registration system.
- Closed (filled) classes
During the early enrollment period, students should request an override by sending an email message to Prof. Fox at foxcj@jmu.edu. After that, students should contact the course's instructor. - Waiving prerequisites
Students that want to waive a prerequisite should contact the course's instructor. Normally, prerequisites are NOT waived except for exceptional circumstances.
