This program provides a practical understanding of computer networks, network security and techniques for defending networks. The program includes three courses (9 credit hours):

  • CS550 Operating Systems
  • CS557 Information Security
  • CS610 Networking and Security

Prerequisite: Baccalaureate degree; Two years programming education or experience; Working knowledge of Java or C++
